During my tenure as a software engineering student, I had the privilege of working with Intel in Petach Tikwa, Israel, specifically in their Wireless department. My focus was on pioneering WiGig, a cutting-edge Wireless Docking Station technology.
In my role as an integration and automation engineer, I navigated both software and hardware challenges. A noteworthy task involved creating a testing automation solution for file transfers through WiGig.
To achieve this, I creatively reverse engineered CrystDiskMark software. Transforming it into a GUI-less file transfer measurement tool using C#, I seamlessly integrated it into VBScript and C# automation scripts for comprehensive WiGig testing.
This experience not only honed my technical skills but also showcased my ability to bridge the realms of software and hardware seamlessly.
